Philosophy

Most people get fat loss backwards.

Macros are the easy part. Everything else is where the work happens.

70 / 20 / 10

My rough split of what actually drives results.

70% Emotional eating, behaviors & habits
20% Nutrition
10% Exercise

Most programs flip this completely. They hand you a meal plan and a workout split and call it a day. If you’ve ever tracked macros perfectly for six weeks and still ended up back where you started, you already know the plan was never the problem.

Food choices don’t exist in a vacuum. They sit on top of stress, boredom, sleep, social dynamics, identity, and whatever happened in the last hour of your day. That’s the real work, and it’s the part almost nobody wants to sell you.

Science first. No fads.

I’m certified through Mac-Nutrition Uni, one of the few nutrition qualifications built around primary research instead of supplement-industry talking points. When I tell you something, there’s a paper behind it, not a wellness podcast.

Nutrition is full of bad actors. The carnivores, the keto evangelists, the anti-seed-oil brigade, the “broken metabolism” crowd. Most of it is confidently wrong. Part of my job is filtering the noise so you don’t spend three years figuring out what actually works.

No two clients look the same.

A single parent working two jobs doesn’t need the same plan as a remote engineer who meal preps on Sundays. Your starting point, your schedule, your food preferences, your income, your history with dieting, all of it shapes what’s actually going to work for you.

Protein targets are protein targets. Whether we hit them through chicken and rice or Greek yogurt and protein bars depends entirely on who you are. The principles don’t change. The implementation always does.

There’s no one right way.

High carb, low carb, intermittent fasting, six meals a day, counting every gram, never counting anything. All of these have worked for someone. None of them work for everyone. If anyone tells you there’s one diet, one protocol, one truth, walk away.

My job is to figure out which tools fit your life, and drop the ones that don’t.
